The most happy couple in the world for me is my healthy 97 years-old grand father and my perky 90 years-old grand mother. My grand father was an architecture for Japanese temples until he was a 80 years-old and still love to draw oil painting. My grand mother likes to cook and used to cook special meal for special occasions for our family. What I am most proud of my grand parents is that they have been together for 67 years. They sleep together every night, eat breakfast together every morning, and travel together. However, my 97 years-old grand father has bad ears even he wear hearing aids he ignores my grandmother or just pretend to be a deaf so that my grand mother got stress from him. When my mother and I visited my grand parents house, my grand mother talked like machine gun. I was wondering that how they communicate each other? Are they happy? I believe that my grand parents are very happy because they have lived together most active period time and have built together great family tree. In addition, my grand parents have five great grand children. I am glad that I have learned so many great things from my parents. The balance of relationship is very important to happy life. I hope I can have a great balance of life for 67 years.

Hi Sachiko - wow! I hope that I live long enough to have as long a relationship as your grandparents have had! I laughed at your description of how your grandmother speaks like a machine gun around people (you and your mother) who can hear and understand easily. Your grandparents obviously have worked out their relationship and how they will "keep the peace" between themselves.
Watch out for length - your journal entries are getting shorter and shorter.
